Galactica, Dark Angel and Smallville, are just some of the major movies and
television series shot in British Columbia in recent
years.
In 2005, more than 211 productions,
worth $1.4 billion, were made in British Columbia –
including 63 feature films and 124 television movies,
series and pilots, and 24 animation productions. Foreign production activity was valued
at $1.2 billion in 2005.
